About the RoleAs a Rotational Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development of energy projects, from feasibility to bid development, engineering, and operational support. You will work closely with our operations teams to understand site operational support issues and develop technical solutions to improve energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Gain experience in the organisation and build close relationships with trusted suppliers to develop technical solutions and prepare quotations.
- Build close relationships with operations teams to assist with understanding site operational support issues.
- Develop skills to model the technical and commercial viability of various options and identify costs, energy, and carbon savings opportunities.
- Maintain and manage the technical KPI reports for our energy contracts.
- Provide and develop technical capability through feasibility studies and option assessment on industrial and building services energy saving measures.
- Identify and manage development project risks and effectively manage the risk escalation process.
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Practical outlook to problem-solving.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new things and develop.
- An enthusiastic, creative, and solution-oriented thinker.
- Driver's license (willingness to get one).
- Willingness to travel if required.
