We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and caring Daily Life Support Professional to join our team at UKCIL Ltd.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude towards supporting individuals with disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Providing daily living support to enable individuals to live independently.">
  3. Assisting with meal preparation, hot drinks, and kitchen duties.">
  4. Making hot water bottles.">
  5. Supporting the use of computers and electronic devices.">
  6. Accompanying individuals to community activities and facilities, such as swimming.">
  7. Maintaining accurate records, including timesheets and financial documents.">
  8. Attending relevant training sessions.">

Requirements:

  1. ">
  2. Female applicants only, due to the nature of some personal care tasks.">
  3. Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions.">
  4. Positive attitude and open-mindedness to disability.">
  5. Cooking and cleaning skills.">
  6. Able to work independently and on own initiative.">
  7. Flexible and available to work varied shifts.">
  8. Patient and caring attitude.">
  9. Will to learn and develop new skills.">
  10. Reliability, punctuality, and good timekeeping.">
  11. Ability to work in the same room as an assistance dog.">
  12. Strong verbal and written English skills.">
  13. DBS check required for this role.">

Desirable Qualifications:

  2. Swimming ability.">
  3. Driving license.">
  4. Experience as a Support Worker or Personal Assistant.">
  5. Experience working with disabled individuals.">
  6. Full COVID-19 vaccination.">

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week, with overtime opportunities. Mainly weekday morning shifts.

Location: Seacroft, Leeds, near Fearnville Playing fields.

Hourly Rate: £13.68
