About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Specialist Structures Team. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of engineering assessments for our submarine builds. You will work closely with design teams to deliver high-quality assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires a strong background in structural steel analysis, mechanical engineering and lifting handling. If you have a passion for problem-solving and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities: * Lead the development of engineering assessments * Collaborate with design teams * Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards * Analyse complex steel structures * Produce equipment and/or supporting operation in production

Requirements: * Engineering Degree (BEng/MEng or equivalent) or HND with extensive years' experience * Expertise in structural steel analysis * Good understanding of mechanical engineering and structural steelwork * Working knowledge of ABAQUS, Foran, MathCAD and Excel * Previous knowledge in a production environment, particularly in a marine production environment
