About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior nurse to join our renal team at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd as a Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to provide high-quality care for patients with chronic and acute renal failure requiring renal replacement therapy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the renal team to provide the best possible care for patients
  • Coordinate and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients
  • Manage the provision of haemodialysis services, including an on-call system outside unit hours
  • Support and manage the renal unit, including staff management and patient care

Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • ENB 136 or Renal Diploma
  • Leadership/Transforming Care Programme
  • Significant experience at Band 6/7
  • Proven staff management experience of acute or renal nurses at band 6 or above
