We are looking for a Production Equipment Engineer to join our team at Kingdom People. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and performance of our production equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real impact on the success of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mechanical maintenance environments, with experience in reactive/PPM/Continuous Improvement. You will be responsible for carrying out duties ensuring site compliance to GMP standards, providing cover to the production department, and participating in electrical and mechanical proactive and re-active maintenance.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Actioning emergency breakdowns and ensuring all measures taken are recorded on CMMS (Shire)
  • Overhauling machinery & sub-assemblies
  • Marking out & manufacture of machine parts as required
  • Updating plant parameters/set points etc. as per site SOPs

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in production equipment maintenance. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £47,349 per annum, paid bi-weekly at £910.56, and a 42-hour workweek with a continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off rotating shifts. The location is Stockport SK22.
