Job Summary:
Randstad Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Child Protection Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting timely and comprehensive assessments of children and families referred to the Initial Response Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Assessments: Conduct thorough and timely assessments of children and families referred to the Initial Response Team, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and documented.
- Make Informed Decisions: Make informed and rapid decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people, taking into account relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate urgent interventions and ensure a comprehensive response to the needs of children and families.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding, maintaining the highest standards of practice.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure clarity and understanding in urgent situations, promoting a culture of transparency and cooperation.
- Participate in Meetings: Participate in strategy discussions, case conferences, and other meetings as required, contributing to the development of effective plans and interventions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
