Job Summary

This competitive hourly rate position is available to individuals who are upbeat and self-motivated. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering parcels to the local community in Dorchester.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-respected brand, delivering parcels to 64 million people across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and gather mail at the local delivery office
  • Collect allocated vehicle and hand-held computer device
  • Deliver parcels to the local community
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Walk extensively, requiring a relatively high level of fitness
Requirements
  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements)
  • Pass a full DBS security check
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role preferred, but not essential
  • Happy to work alone and as part of a team
  • Helpful and approachable, with a strong sense of community
