The HEIW team is seeking a highly skilled professional to provide expert advice on the Medical Associate Professions (MAPs) across NHS Wales. As an Associate Dean, you will lead the MAPs workstream at a strategic level, driving workforce transformation and excellence in care delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on MAPs roles, leading the team in a collaborative environment.
  • Oversee the ongoing evaluation and audit of MAPs roles, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions.
  • Exhibit compassionate leadership, promoting values-based performance appraisals and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to participate in corporate inductions and welcome programs.
  • Contribute to shaping health and social care services, impacting the lives and wellbeing of people in Wales.

Salary and Benefits

An estimated salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. This position also offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth in a dynamic work environment.


Job Type

Part-time, 2 days per week, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
