Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, including monthly bookkeeping, payroll management, and VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide monthly bookkeeping services to clients using Xero and cloud-based applications
  • Post month-end accounting journals, including prepayments and accruals
  • Lead on payroll management and HMRC filings for clients
  • Produce and file VAT returns
  • Assist clients with training and consultancy advice
  • Contribute to the production of monthly management reports
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting schedules
  • Identify upselling opportunities for our clients
  • Network and build relationships with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Experience in accountancy or finance, either in an educational or practical setting
  • Desirable skills include Xero experience and a desire to pursue a career in accountancy or finance
