We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Sweyne Court Care Home in Rayleigh, Essex. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing physical, emotional, and social support to our residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with mealtimes, personal care, and daily living activities
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including daily records and care plans
- Engage in meaningful activities with residents, promoting their well-being and quality of life
- Competitive hourly rate: £12.40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Flexible scheduling: 24 hours per week (2 x 12-hour day shifts) or 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour night shifts)
- Shifts from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am, Monday to Sunday, with alternate weekends
- Opportunities for career development and funded qualifications via our apprenticeship programme
- A comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training and support
- A friendly and supportive work environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
We are looking for a caring and kind individual with a passion for working with older people. Experience in a care environment is ideal, but not essential. If you have a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing excellent care, we encourage you to apply.
