Job Summary

We require a passionate and creative Reception Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, providing individualized support to students, and collaborating with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress providing regular feedback to students', parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with students', parents, and colleagues ensuring a strong partnership between home and school

Requirements:

  • QTS EYTS PGCE and strong academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students', parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
