Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Risk and Assurance Advisor to support our clients in ensuring effective risk management and assurance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management methodologies, standards, and approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Development of Risk and Assurance Frameworks
- Collaborate with the Risk and Continuity Manager to implement and maintain risk and assurance frameworks.
- Ensure timely collation, production, and analysis of relevant risk and assurance information and data.
- Provide Risk and Assurance Advice
- Offer expert advice on risk management, assurance, and business continuity methodologies, standards, and approaches.
- Support the development and implementation of risk and business continuity communications plans.
- Horizon Scanning and Risk Identification
- Conduct regular horizon scanning to stay up-to-date with changes in risk, assurance, and business continuity.
- Identify opportunities to improve risk, assurance, and business continuity standards.
Requirements
- Strong Risk Management Knowledge
- Excellent understanding of risk management methodologies, standards, and approaches.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent literacy and report writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Technical Skills
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of risk management software.
- Business Acumen
- Ability to analyze, assess, and communicate risk data in a way that the organization can understand.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
