Clinical Manager and Clinical Specialist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Manager and Clinical Specialist to join our team at Physiotherapy Matters Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences across our allocated areas of business, ensuring robust clinical governance, professional standards, and compliance with the Healthcare Standards Act 2000.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Clinical/Professional: Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to clients, adhering to professional standards and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Relationships and Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, driving business growth and improving services.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Clinical Leadership / Management Responsibilities:

  • Business Delivery and Operational Management: Oversee the delivery of business objectives, ensuring effective operational management and service quality.
  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to clinical team members.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to business planning, working closely with the Business Manager and Managing Director.
  • HR for Clinical Team: Manage HR-related matters for the clinical team, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Line Management: Provide line management support to clinical team members, ensuring effective performance management and development.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager and Clinical Specialist who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in MSK Physiotherapy working at Clinical Specialist level.
  • Clinical leadership experience, operational management, and strong organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
