We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at Adarma Security. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our sales team, ensuring that our commercial contracts are negotiated and managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and Negotiate Commercial Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating multiple commercial contracts, including master services agreements, framework agreements, statements of work, software and licensing agreements, and managed service outsourcing agreements.
- Identify and Mitigate Legal Risks: You will identify important legal risks and advise on their possible effects for the business, ensuring that our organization remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor Legislative Changes: You will monitor and keep up to date with legislative changes, ensuring that our organization remains informed and compliant.
- Update Contractual Documentation: You will assist in updating and improving our existing contractual documentation, ensuring that it remains relevant and effective.
- Establish Governance Framework: You will assist in creating an appropriate legal and governance framework for the business, establishing procedures to ensure legal best practices.
- Provide Legal Advice: You will provide legal advice to our managed service and security consulting departments, as well as our other internal support departments, such as Sales, Finance, HR, and Marketing.
- Support Insurance Renewals: You will support the renewal of insurance policies and ensure agreement to contractual obligations.
- Legally Qualified Solicitor: You must be a legally qualified solicitor with experience negotiating commercial contracts and technology agreements, gained either in an established in-house legal team or a private practice firm.
- Desirable Skills: Knowledge of data protection law, intellectual property law, and corporate law would be desirable.
