About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outbound Dispatch Team Coordinator to join our team at DACHSER Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the outbound despatch team in the smooth running of outbound operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead the department by ensuring that all administration, reporting and quality procedures are complied with
  • Correct administration and monitoring of outbound operation and use of various Dachser Tools
  • Monitor customer compliance with Export documentation to facilitate error-free Customs processing
  • Pre-planning of outbound freight for cross docking
  • Processing of vehicles and loading space, domestic and european
  • Preparation and despatch of trunk vehicles, including customs processes, hazardous and driver paperwork where required
  • Administration and processing of shipment details and transport documents
  • Yield management
  • Processing vehicle movements within the Yard Management System
  • Manage suppliers effectively to minimise cost and ensure consistent service
  • Cost accrual and processing of purchase invoices where required
  • Ensure that profit is maximised at all opportunities without compromising quality
  • To efficiently respond to customer and network requests for all outbound services to provide cost effective and efficient solutions
  • Ensure compliance of standard operating procedures
  • Maintain quality standards and excellent customer service
  • Produce, analyse and manage identified Key Performance Indicators for all outbound activity and ensure that targets are met
  • Proactively lead the efficiency and effectiveness of the outbound operations ensuring that activity is optimised with the needs of other departments in the business
  • To liaise with other departments in Northampton and the UK as well as other branches in the network ensuring good working relations
Requirements
