Job Title: Reliability, Maintenance

At Amazon UK Services Ltd., we're looking for a skilled Reliability, Maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to prevent machine downtime and ensure the safety of our colleagues.
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, using the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and practices, and support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
A Day in the Life:

As a Reliability, Maintenance professional, you'll be based on-site, responding quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment, making sure it's working safely. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements and work on a range of shifts to make sure our sites are supported around the clock.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer and relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
