Reliability Maintenance Engineer

Join Amazon's Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team and play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. As an RME Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and quality of our equipment, preventing machine downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
  • Use the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
  • Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
  • Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites
A Day in the Life:

As an RME Technician, you'll be based on-site, allowing you to respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to ensure our sites' equipment is working safely. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements and work alongside senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll work on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock, allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we're known for.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
  • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
