As a School Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and hospitality for our young people, ensuring their dietary requirements are met and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for our young people, working to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure the kitchen meets the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Serve food and drinks to the young people at mealtimes, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwasher duties and clearing down tables and preparation benches.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role and/or setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food and hospitality.
  • Health and hygiene Level 3 qualification, with a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Catering qualification (highly desirable), with knowledge of nutrition and menu planning.
