We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality, and maintaining high standards of care on your unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursing and care colleagues to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents
- Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks on your unit
- Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for their care profiles
- Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication
Requirements:
- First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
- Experience working with mental health service users, preferably as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disability (RNLD)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently on your own initiative
- Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications
