Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join their team in Erith.

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance on all types of equipment, machinery, and processes operated across the production plant.

The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent training, be qualified to ONC/HNC/NVQ3/C&G standards, and have a minimum of 5 years' industrial experience.

You will be responsible for fault-finding and repair, completing basic mechanical tasks, and conducting routine inspections and maintenance of operational plant and infrastructure services.

The successful candidate will be a good team player, able to work well under pressure, and have good communication skills.

They will also be able to work at heights and have the ability to problem-solve and seek continuous improvements.

The Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician will report to the Electrical Supervisor and will be required to use the Maximo work order system for creation and completion of work orders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation, automation control, and calibration, and will be able to perform electrical isolations as part of the company's Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) safe system of work.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain good housekeeping standards and observe good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.

They will also be required to actively encourage the ongoing development of a safety culture by participation in the company's safety initiatives and as per legislative requirements.
