About the Role

We require an experienced Medical Device Decontamination Expert to join our team in NHS National Services Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing production control and working with the team who are responsible for providing a comprehensive reprocessing service for reusable medical devices used in theatres, wards, and clinics.

Responsibilities:
  1. Decontaminate medical devices to ensure they are safe for use
  2. Control production processes to meet quality and safety standards
  3. Work with the team to achieve targets and performance indicators
  4. Participate in shift systems including nightshifts and flexible hours to suit the needs of the service
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience of decontaminating medical devices
  • Ability to work flexibly, including nightshifts and varying hours
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
