Sales Support Professional

The Regional Stock Optimization Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that builder merchant branches across the South East region are fully stocked and merchandised correctly.
This involves working closely with Area Sales Managers to develop and implement effective stock management strategies, as well as providing training and support to branch staff on product knowledge and sales processes.
With frequent visits to trade shows and interactions with various stakeholders, this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring optimal stock levels and merchandising at builder merchant branches
- Developing and implementing effective stock management strategies
- Training Branch staff on product knowledge and sales processes
- Rolling out new promotions and maintaining visually appealing store displays
The successful candidate will have experience in merchandising, preferably within construction or FMCG sectors, and demonstrate upward mobility, comfort with extensive travel, and a strong desire to grow their career. Estimated salary: £32k - £40k dependent on experience.
