Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our UK Global Wealth Management team as a Lead Wealth Strategist. Reporting to the Head of UK Global Wealth Management, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key financial intermediaries in London, driving business growth through strategic partnerships and exceptional client service.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced wealth management professional to make their mark on PIMCO's growth journey. You will play a critical role in expanding PIMCO's asset base in the UK wholesale channel, leveraging your expertise to develop and maintain relationships with national wealth managers, DFMs, MPS players, and banks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote PIMCO's full range of products to external clients through personal presentations and one-on-one meetings
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, sales support, product specialists, and portfolio managers to ensure comprehensive coverage of the target market
  • Maintain accurate client records and establish long-term relationships with clients and prospects
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences by focusing on client needs at all times, adhering to Consumer Duty guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, audit requirements, and legal standards
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in wealth management sales, excellent relationship management, and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of the UK market, particularly the London market, including DFMs and national wealth managers
  • Familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks, capital markets, and investment concepts
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong work ethic and ability to operate independently
  • CFA or MBA qualification desirable; IMC or undergraduate degree minimum requirement
