An Oldham-based company, specialists in sheet metal fabrication and specialist welding for various sectors, is seeking an experienced CAD Programmer.
The company has invested in state-of-the-art machinery, including a 4mtr Bystronic Press Brake and a 6kw Fiber Laser.
About the RoleCAD Programmer - Laser/Press Brake.
Responsibilities include programming and nesting parts for the laser and press brake.
This position could be ideal for candidates looking to transition from a shopfloor role to an office environment.
Key Requirements- Proficiency in CAD programming machinery such as lasers and press brakes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, & BySoft would be beneficial.
- Experience in sheet metal and fabrication would be preferred.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7am - 3.30pm, with overtime available. The salary range is £15-£19 per hour, negotiable based on experience, performance, and reviews. Additional benefits include 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and automatic enrolment to pension.
