About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Payroll Operations Director to join our team in this key leadership role. This position is responsible for managing payroll operations across EMEA countries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payrolls while maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with payroll vendors to ensure country-specific compliance is in place and review/approve payrolls across EMEA regions.
  • Support payroll leads in ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in line with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for payroll-related matters, responding to complex employee payroll queries escalated from the Service Centre.
  • Work closely with the Global Payroll Process Lead to identify and implement process improvements within assigned payrolls.
  • Liaise with the Global Compliance & Audit Lead to provide support for internal/external audit processes and ensure regular finance, compliance, and audit reporting is delivered on time.
  • Lead audits and reconciliations of payroll data for assigned payrolls as required.
  • Review payroll policies/procedures and ensure standard approaches are implemented in line with company policies.
  • Define payroll requirements related to payroll projects/enhancements and perform User Acceptance Testing, documenting results and updating user guides accordingly.
  • Ensure CSL meets its compliance obligations with all federal/state and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage BAU team activities and develop the team to meet Service Level Agreement targets.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Accounting or Diploma in Payroll (preferred).
  • 5-8 years of experience in leading a payroll team and managing team members across different locations.
  • Strong payroll team management experience.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and engagement capabilities.
Our Benefits

CSL Seqirus offers a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience, plus benefits including comprehensive health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
