We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Community Support Liaison to join our team at the Spark-A-Change Foundation.

About the Role

As a Community Support Liaison, you will be working independently in the community, visiting veterans in their homes to provide companionship and support. You will be responsible for building relationships with our veterans, listening to their stories, and helping them to feel connected and valued.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and have a strong understanding of confidentiality and boundaries. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

We estimate that this role will take around 5-10 hours per week, depending on your availability. You will be fully trained and supported by our team to ensure your success in this role.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £11.50 per hour, which equates to approximately £23,040 per year, based on a 20-hour workweek. This is a part-time, fixed-term contract.

You will be working as an independent contractor, but will have access to our network of volunteers and staff for support and guidance.
