Teaching Assistant Position in Nottingham

This is a full-time SEN teaching assistant role at an independent special needs school in Nottingham. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced teachers to provide support to students with autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality student support services to promote learning and well-being
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement lesson plans and activities
- Manage classroom behaviour and de-escalate conflicts when necessary
Person Specification:
- Qualifications and experience of working with children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Package:
- Daily rate: £85-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
- Ongoing training and professional development
