Global Investment Analyst Program for Experienced Professionals

At Point72 Asset Management, we're seeking exceptional individuals to join our Academy 2024 Investment Analyst Program for Experienced Professionals UK. This comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed as a global investment analyst.
What You'll DoAs a participant in our Academy, you'll embark on a transformative journey that combines theoretical foundations with hands-on experience. Our faculty, comprising investment professionals and professors from leading universities, will guide you in developing sophisticated company analysis and modeling skills.
You'll delve into statistics, accounting, financial modeling, data analysis, and coding, as well as complete a compliance training curriculum to prepare you for an analyst role. Our Academy Associates will have the opportunity to participate in team rotations, applying their skills in real-life situations under the guidance of our investment professionals.
Upon Successful GraduationUpon completing the Academy, you'll be eligible to interview for an equity research analyst role at Point72, where you'll work closely with your portfolio manager and team to develop a deep understanding of companies across industries and around the world. You'll apply your financial acumen and curiosity to help shape your team's investment strategies by:
- Developing sophisticated financial models to understand business dynamics
- Performing fundamental research, attending industry events, and analyzing data sets
- Constantly developing your skills through coaching and professional development resources
- Applying your knowledge to identify and opine on key market debates that drive stock prices
- Creatively researching questions within compliance policies and procedures
- Recognizing variant views versus the market
- Conducting yourself with the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
We're looking for potential problem-solvers offering a unique perspective that could be applied to investing. Backgrounds of interest include finance, industry-specific experience, and those with superior analytical skills demonstrated through work experience or graduate education.
