Barrington James is excited to be recruiting for a Viral Outbreak Analyst who can design and develop models for the transmission, surveillance, and control of FMDV and ASFV, supporting decision-making for policy makers. The role will also involve collaboration with field and laboratory scientists to integrate their findings into the model framework.

The successful candidate will be based near Guildford and will work closely with the Transmission Biology and African Swine Fever teams to analyse data from experimental studies and integrate findings into models to understand and manage the transmission and control of FMD and ASF.
