Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special Needs

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support plans and promote positive behaviors. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a similar setting and be able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and individual support plans.
• Build strong relationships with students to support their emotional and academic growth.
• Support behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to develop effective learning strategies.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a similar setting.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
