About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Custody Nurse to join our dynamic team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to individuals in police custody.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in police custody.
  • Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
  • Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police custody and collect DNA evidence as required.
  • Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Administer medications through PGDs and PTPs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' minimum experience as a nurse.
  • Confidence and ability to make quick decisions.
  • Autonomy to manage your own workload.
  • Ability to work a 4-shifts-on, 4-shifts-off work pattern.
