Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to enhance supplier performance, focusing on safety, quality, and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven decision making and empowerment.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product requirements and communicate quality initiatives effectively.
- Proven understanding of problem-solving methodologies, including 6 Sigma and 8D, as well as 5S and Lean principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as statistical analysis and presentation software.
- Strong knowledge of core manufacturing and inspection processes, including forging, fabrication, machining, coating, welding, and NDT.
- Ability to interpret industry and regulatory standards, as well as customer requirements.
- 6 Sigma Greenbelt certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
