To be considered for this opportunity, CassonX is looking for a degree-educated individual with Python, SQL, or VBA technical skills and experience in using these coding languages to automate or improve efficiencies and processes. Knowledge of fixed-income or OTC operations or middle office/trade support is advantageous, but not essential if you can demonstrate enhancements experience. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Treasury, Collateral, PnL, or Cash Management processes and how they support the lifecycle of trades. Preference will be given to those with experience in Cash or Non-Cash Collateral, Margin Calls, Treasury Optimisation, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Funding, Forecasting, or Position Keeping. CassonX is open to hiring someone from a hedge fund, sell-side, or prime broker.

The most important aspect is showcasing a mentality that would be successful in aptitude assessments and mental arithmetic. This might be demonstrated in education through statistics or quant-focused modules. Being able to work methodically and in the correct order will showcase natural logic in problem-solving. Coding skills and appreciation of VBA, Python, and SQL are essential. Being able to identify and document errors/issues, create code to improve/automate, check the code works, and test it is a prime way to demonstrate logical thinking.

This very broad role is crucial for the company as it's the last line in the Operations workflow. Partnering closely with the Front Office to ensure they understand their cash positions at all times, you will experience all things Margin Call Management, Trade Capture, Liquidity Monitoring, Cash Management, and FX Rolls. You will work directly with the Front Office daily and support the lifecycle of trades once settled. This role will see you automate and enhance processes, and provide further controls to all Operations and Middle Office responsibilities.
