Transportation Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner with expertise in behaviour change to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented individual with strong engagement, research, and analytical skills, as well as specialist knowledge of travel behaviour change and travel demand management projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver travel behaviour change projects, including researching and evaluating their effectiveness
- Develop and implement travel plans for various organisations, ensuring successful project outcomes
- Manage large-scale projects from scope to budget, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, securing new business opportunities
- Share knowledge and expertise with junior team members, inspiring their growth and development
- Contribute to other projects across the advisory group as required
- Sound understanding of behaviour change theory and appreciation of factors influencing mode choice
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects for transport authorities or private sector clients in the UK
- Deep understanding of transport policy and current issues, with creative approaches to addressing them
- Growing network of industry contacts and positive client referrals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent report-writing skills
A competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for career growth and development.
