Transportation Planning Expert

We are seeking a skilled Senior Transport Planner with expertise in influencing behaviour to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, people-oriented individual with specialist engagement, research, report writing, and analytical skills. Importantly, you should have specialist knowledge of travel behaviour change and travel demand management projects, including successfully implementing travel plans across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement travel behaviour change projects, researching and designing effective solutions
- Design and implement travel plans for a range of organisations, ensuring successful project delivery
- Manage sizeable projects, ensuring they are delivered on scope and budget
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, securing new work and growing the business
- Inspire and develop less-experienced members of staff, sharing knowledge and expertise
- Contribute to other projects across the advisory group as required
Candidate Profile:
- A sound understanding of behaviour change theory and an appreciation of the factors influencing mode choice
- Demonstrable experience of managing projects for transport authorities or private sector clients in the UK
- A deep understanding of transport policy and current issues, with creative approaches to dealing with them
- A growing network of industry contacts and positive client referrals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent report-writing skills
What We Offer:
