Role: Receptionist

Seaham Hall is seeking a skilled Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support to our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage the reception area, including handling phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Assist with room assignments, key card distribution, and other related tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Reservations Team to ensure accurate and up-to-date room inventory and availability.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous reception experience is essential, with a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of your work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft systems and a good understanding of PMS systems (training will be provided for the right candidate).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Be a team player, with a positive and professional attitude.
