Care Services Director Role

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Salary: up to £42,000 per annum plus bonus

Hargate Healthcare Ltd is recruiting a Care Services Director to lead our children's home in Corby, Northamptonshire. The service supports young people aged 8-18 years with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced leader who can build and lead an inspirational team whilst being an active and positive member of the Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the residential care team to deliver high-quality care and support to young people
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with other stakeholders, including Ofsted, local authorities, and healthcare professionals
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient delivery of services
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce

Requirements:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience in children's homes
  • 2 years' experience of management in children's homes
  • Experience of current Ofsted Inspection Framework
  • Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures, and best practice in caring for children
  • Experience of working with young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs (Desirable)
  • Experience in the delivery of staff training (Desirable)
