Job Title: Additional Learning Needs Support

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Additional Learning Needs Support Officer to join our team in Neath and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement learning materials tailored to individual students' needs
  • Provide adaptive teaching support to cater to diverse learning requirements
  • Ensure the physical, social, and emotional well-being of students
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in review meetings
  • Collaborate with professionals, including speech and language therapists, to ensure comprehensive support
  • Ensure safeguarding measures are in place
Working Environment:

As an Additional Learning Needs Support Officer, you may work in a school, special needs school, or pupil referral unit.

Your working environment may be physically and emotionally demanding, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE Level Qualification (minimum of 5)
  • Experience working with Additional Needs Learners
  • Full Driving License

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
