About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Achievement Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis (17.5 hours per week) for a fixed term until December 2024. As an Achievement Tutor, you will be responsible for managing allocated students and delivering a comprehensive tutorial and pastoral programme to ensure the academic, pastoral, social, and behavioral progress of students is tracked and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage allocated students and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme.
- Track and support students' academic, pastoral, social, and behavioral progress.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department English, maths, and Progress to achieve outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.
Requirements
- Certificate of education or PGCE.
- Current and valid industry specialism.
- Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
- Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
- English and maths minimum level 2 Grade C or grade 4 and above.
