Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils with complex needs in a resource base provision within a Primary School in Central East Birmingham.
The school is an OFSTED-rated Good mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. We are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing SEN support staff who can develop good relationships with children with additional needs.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year. Previous experience working with special needs, challenging behaviour, and personal care assistance is essential. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a SEN school setting or provision.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils with complex needs in a resource base provision
- Develop good relationships with children with additional needs
- Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team and other support staff
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
