Maths Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to provide temporary cover for Key Stage 3 (KS3) students in a well-regarded secondary school and sixth form in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

About the Role
  • Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 students, following the existing schemes of work.
  • Marking: Assess and provide constructive feedback to students' work, supporting their learning progress.
  • General Cover: Provide general cover for other subjects as needed.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, ensuring student engagement and adherence to school policies.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level, ideally with KS3.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clearly convey mathematical concepts and engage students.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to different classroom environments and cover various subjects as needed.
  • Organisational Skills: Efficient in marking and providing feedback within the required timeframe.
