Job Description

The Playworker and Activity Coordinator role at Plus Staff Recruitment involves providing a safe, stimulating, and happy environment for pupils aged 5-11 years old during after-school club sessions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to pupils during after-school club sessions
  • Assist in setting up playrooms, maintaining a clean and tidy setting, and supervising activities
  • Contribute to planning and provision of engaging age-appropriate activities, including sports, arts & crafts, and educational pursuits
  • Log pupils' time of collection and name of the collector
  • Document incidents of danger and accidents

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children (ages 5-11)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate concisely and sensitively with children and parents
  • Commitment to pupil development and respect for others
  • Proven ability to develop effective professional relationships

Estimated Salary Range: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours)
