Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Operations Manager to join our team and take ownership of HR operations across our markets. Reporting to the Executive team, you'll provide expert HR advice and support to management, ensuring that policies and processes are effectively applied while identifying and addressing people-related risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, maintaining smooth HR processes aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency across all markets.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees to promote a positive and productive environment.
  • Coach and build the capability of line managers to anticipate and preempt issues, including facilitating effective feedback and performance management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness across Europe and Africa.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Broad experience in HR operations, including employee relations, policy creation, recruitment, and process enhancement.
  • In-depth understanding of UK employment law, with the ability to interpret laws in other countries. Existing knowledge of employment regulations in Africa is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, up to C-suite executives.
  • Adaptable and able to make decisions, set priorities, and plan effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
