Job Title: NPD Lead

Avondale Foods Ltd is seeking a highly skilled NPD Lead to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating new recipes and successfully transferring them from the kitchen to the factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret customer briefs and develop recipes that meet agreed specifications through an efficient manufacturing process.
  • Stay up-to-date with current market trends and factors affecting consumer choice.
  • Adjust recipes and processes to suit existing systems or create new systems in line with business needs.
  • Manage and assist key accounts, and be in full control over customer presentations and product preparation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to perform duties and aid business development.
Essential Criteria:
  • Third-level food science/technology or food-related qualification.
  • NPD experience within food manufacturing.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in MS packages.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification.
  • NPD experience within the chilled fresh food industry.
