Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain / Procurement Specialist to join our client's team in a Manufacturing and Distribution environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing suppliers, setting up new suppliers, and preparing information and reports for supplier reviews and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Purchase Order Management: Manage the purchase order process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Supplier Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of suppliers, updating systems with new supplier contracts and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Purchase Order Expedite: Monitor and expedite purchase orders to maintain high service levels and SLAs.
  • Performance Data Capture and Reporting: Capture and report data on product and supplier performance, supplier contract reviews, and negotiations.
  • Product and Supplier Information Management: Maintain and set up new products and relevant information onto internal systems and external websites, ensuring all mandatory data is updated.
  • Supplier Liaison: Regularly liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate information is updated on websites, including new product features, benefits, certifications, and other required data.
  • Purchase Order Acknowledgement: Ensure all supplier partners provide purchase order acknowledgements, reviewing and escalating any issues that arise.
  • Internal and External Communication: Regularly communicate with internal teams, supply partners, and customers as required, both over the phone and via email.
  • Additional Projects and Administration: Carry out additional projects and administration as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to multiple in-house systems and processes.
  • Strong IT Skills: Proficiency in Excel and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Organized and Structured Approach: A methodical and organized approach to work, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Supply Chain Experience: Previous experience in supply chain, product management, buying, or procurement is highly desirable.
