Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for aviation? Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, a leading global air charter company, is seeking a talented and experienced Cargo Business Development Manager to join our team in Gatwick, UK.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our cargo operations by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue lucrative business opportunities within the Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Energy, Automotive, Government, Humanitarian, and Freight Forwarding sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy for the region, in collaboration with leadership teams, brokers, and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our Cargo and Humanitarian broker teams to develop region-specific plans and support client relationship management.
  • Continuously identify new markets and opportunities for growth within the cargo sector.
  • Manage incentive arrangements with customers, suppliers, and General Sales Agents (GSAs) to foster strong partnerships.
  • Source and build relationships with new operators and carriers to expand our network of aviation partners.
Your Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in sales within the air cargo or related industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong managerial abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
