About the Role

We are recruiting for a Care Assistant in reablement to join our team in Chelmsford, South Woodham, Maldon, Witham, Hatfield Peverel, and Writtle areas. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our clients regain their independence and continue living safely and independently within their own homes and local communities.

The estimated salary for this position is £26,495.88 per annum, based on a 16-30 hour contract with guaranteed hours, including working every other weekend. The hourly rate is £12.69 weekdays and £14.69 weekends, with additional pay for bank holidays and mileage allowance of 45p per mile.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes and local communities.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and preparing meals.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • A full driving licence and access to a car for business use.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
