We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Clinical Research Imaging Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Research Trials team, you will be responsible for the provision of clinical imaging services within our Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Clinical Research Imaging services at the Bristol Eye Hospital.
  • Train all imaging staff in Imaging protocols for new studies and support them through certifications.
  • Ensure that all staff have current ICH/GCP training and attend regular training courses in all relevant imaging techniques.
  • Maintain a database to provide evidence for all imaging certifications and training dates.
  • Support with trial feasibilities and equipment information.
  • Maintain an equipment inventory including modalities, software and versions.
  • Remain up to date on relevant drug trial protocols and procedures and familiarise all staff with any changes.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clinical trial sponsors, research unit staff and reading centres.
  • Transmit image data to reading centres within the required timeframe and ensure data queries and all other queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Maintain robust records regarding clinical patient visits in line with individual research protocol and Trust guidelines.
