We are seeking a skilled Pre-Sale Underwriter to join our team at LegalAndGeneral. As a Pre-Sale Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and high-quality indication of terms to advisers in relation to pre-application underwriting enquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and expectations are met.
- Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of our products and legislative requirements.
- Manage time effectively, balancing business requirements with personal development.
- Support sales and APE generation through effective questioning and lead generation.
- Identify and improve service through liaising with team managers and recording accurate Management Information.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in accurately following pre-sale underwriting flows.
- Understanding of relationships between an insurance company and their partners.
- Knowledge of Insurance products and policy conditions.
- Good understanding of financial calculations to support pre-sale underwriting limits and philosophies.
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit the audience.
- Excellent call listening and telephony skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in following flows and providing correct terms.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve problems.
