Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the overall success of our esteemed accountancy firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with bookkeeping duties, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Prepare statutory and management accounts, providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Conduct tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Liaise with HMRC, resolving queries and addressing any concerns.
- Handle correspondence and escalate queries to the relevant department, maintaining excellent communication skills.
- Confidently liaise with clients, handling general queries with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Support the junior team, reviewing work and offering mentoring when required.
- Work closely with senior team members, handling duties as required.
